David is passionate about the community and participating in interesting challenges. Each interesting challenge is an opportunity to raise awareness and new funds for a variety of community organisations.

David is the former Group Managing Director of Telstra’s Consumer business where his business leadership responsibilities for the past seven years encompassed the provision of mobile communications, broadband, pay TV and entertainment services for Australian consumers. The group he led was also responsible for Telstra’s Shops, mobile phone dealers and Consumer Call Centres. David was also a Director of Pay TV operator FOXTEL Pty Ltd.

David joined Telstra in February 2001 as the company’s Chief Financial Officer and Group Managing Director, Finance and Administration. Prior to Telstra, David spent 10 years at General Electric Inc where he was CEO of GE and GE Capital, Australia and New Zealand.
