Book of Light
SuperClubsPLUS Australia collaborated with Telstra to create the Book of Light. A ‘book’ to embrace the rebuilding of the 2009 bushfire affected communities.
The Book of Light project, is championed by Telstra’s former Group Managing Director, David Moffatt, together with the Victorian Department of Education and Early Childhood Education. The project will provide primary school children with the opportunity to record the regeneration of their communities following the 2009 bushfires in country Victoria. Hope School Beijing
The Melbourne Hope School is located in the south east of Tianjin city. Currently there are 486 students in grades 1 – 6. The money that the Project Hope riders and sponsors have contributed will go towards rebuilding six grade 1 -3 classrooms. At the welcome ceremony for the riders they met with representatives from the China Youth Development Foundation (CYDF), local Government representatives, the Headmaster and some of the students. The riders are thrilled to be able to support this fantastic school and help improve the learning environment for the students.
