The advent of social media, facilitated by mobile communications has dramatically changed the nature of the way brands connect with customers, employees, partners, suppliers and the community. While some of the hyperbole of social media having a larger influence than the “industrial revolution” or statements like “the power of social media is infinite” may sound overblown there is no doubt social media has and will continue to change and challenge the way business is done.
This section of my site aims to “curate” some of the massive amount of content on this topic. For busy senior executives it is difficult to “keep up” with the plethora of opinion and data on social media. I aim to bring an executive perspective to what is important and what is effective in this space.
